The team at Booth Industries are used to hitting the heights of dedication & expertise on a daily basis, but recently they took on a whole new challenge – to scale the daunting Yorkshire Three Peaks, in a charity walk to raise money for the Bolton Hospice. All the volunteers rose early on the Saturday morning, and travelled to the starting point full of enthusiasm and determination.
The challenge involved scaling the three peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough , in a route just under 40Km long and 5,200ft of ascent.
Undaunted, the team took on the challenge and completed it successfully, and in some cases painfully, in times of around 12 hours.
The effort and blisters were worth it, with the Booth Industries team raising over £5,000 for Bolton Hospice in support of the local community.
