Booth Industries was the first manufacturer of steel fire doors early in the 20th Century, and was instrumental in the development of national standards for fire safety.
We have continued this expertise over the years, and continue to offer the highest quality steel fire doors to suit all standards.
Additionally, we have strategic partnerships in place with all leading testing & certifying houses, to ensure that we can offer destructive testing and assurance, should the project require specific configurations or features that are not available in the market from standard door suppliers.
Our unique & innovative approach to assurance and testing means that we are not constrained by size – we have provided fire test evidence up to even the largest of sliding hangar doors .
Where possible, we will use our experience and network of consultants to provide suitable appraisals in the place of destructive testing, in order to provide cost and programme savings to the client whilst still providing the necessary certification.
We offer a wide selection of hinged and sliding door options, with certification ranging from offshore IMO standards, to British and European standards such as BS476 pr. 22 and BS EN1634, as well as EI ratings.
All our doorsets can be offered with both integrity and insulation performance. Our external fire doorsets are suitable for the most extreme of conditions, in the most exposed of locations.
We use a combination of construction details, from bonded honeycomb cores to stiffened fabricated door leaves for a more robust construction in hazardous and industrial areas.
Doors are available in mild and stainless steel, with a variety of finishes available, including decorative and clad finishes.
Station Doors
Booth Industries manufacture and install doors extensively for the infrastructure market, in particular for stations, and we have recently installed a huge and varied range of fire and multi-performance doorsets for Crossrail and The Northern Line Extension. We can offer doors up to large oversized double leaf configuration, for both fire and smoke performance, and if required we can supply these as specialist hold-open fire doors, latchless, and with an array of other features such as pressure resistance, crowd-loading, and with large vision panels to meet the fire requirements.
As is the case with all of Booth Industries’ products, our unique customisation abilities allow us to upgrade all our fire doors with other features such as enhanced acoustic & sound reduction, blast rating, power operation and a variety of security upgrades.
