Mike Jenkinson   –  Managing Director

Mike joined Booth Industries in 2018 as the Commercial Director, and made an immediate impact within the business. With almost 20 years’ experience in specialist engineering markets, he has a unique depth of understanding of the full business process. Following a period of stabilisation, Mike began instigating a journey of change which has seen the business grow from strength to strength.

What Mike’s peers say about him:  An unshakeable character, determined and hard-working. Whilst his coffee mug may say he’s grumpy, he’s far from it, and his passion and charisma are always there to be seen.

Richard Longley  –  Projects Director

Richard joined the business in 2016 as Project Manager, primarily working on Crossrail and AWE.  After starting his Mechanical Engineering career as an apprentice, Richard’s career then progressed in the Power Transmission and Machine Tool industry.  At Booth Industries, he was appointed Projects Director in 2017, in a role which involves overseeing all the Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors and  P6 planners that make up the Project Control department

Richard is extremely passionate about working collaboratively with clients’ teams to ensure the successful management of a project, from inception to completion.

Richard Lamb    –   Engineering Director

Richard joined the board as the Engineering Director in June 2018. He is a chartered member of both the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), and has served his career to date across highly regulated engineering industries. Richard is accountable for the technical direction of the business, enjoys nurturing engineering talent, and has a passion for driving Booths’ carbon initiatives.

James Rutter  –  Finance Director

James joined the company as Finance Director in February 2021.  His role has been key so far in establishing and supporting Booth Industries International Ltd. , and as well as being charge of finance, he also oversees Corporate Services including HR and IT.  James possesses a 1st Class BSc degree in Product Design, is a registered qualified ACCA accountant since 2016, and also an ACCA fellow since 2021.

Caroline Evans  –   Senior SHEQ Manager

After starting her Booth career as a temporary admin clerk in 1995, Caroline joined the company full time in 1996, as a Technical Clerk for the Engineering Department.  Caroline’s career path at Booth has seen her dedicate herself to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety,  including for all Major Projects, and she took up her current role of Senior SHEQ manager in 2017.  This role involves being responsible for overseeing the safe and effective running of the business, as well as ensuring that quality documentation, deliverables and procedures are managed and recorded as necessary.

Petra Roberts  –  Purchasing Manager

Petra joined Booth Industries in March 2007 as Purchasing Assistant, and has advanced through the company over the last 15 years, firstly as Senior Buyer and then in 2019 being appointed as Purchasing Manager, thereby becoming in charge of the overall procurement planning within the organisation.

Adam Robinson  –  Sales & Estimating Office Manager

Adam first joined Booth Industries over 20 years ago as an administrator in the Sales Office, before working his way up through the company and becoming head of Sales & Estimating in 2019.  Adam has a wealth of experience in the door market, as well as a vast knowledge & experience of working within highly regulated sectors.  He heads up the industry-leading Booth Industries Technical Sales & Estimating team.

Gareth Dark  –  After Sales Business Unit Manager

Gareth joined the company in July 2021 to lead a new department as After Sales Manager, covering both the UK and International Markets. He has a breadth of invaluable experience, having worked in the fire and security After Sales industry for over 20 years, from the world’s largest global corporations to start-ups. He prides himself on his proven success in achieving year on year results, and is passionate about leading and delivering a world class After Sales business unit for Booth Industries International.
