Carbon Zero Target Closer

Here at Booth Industries International we have set out a robust pathway to achieving net zero emissions as a priority for the business. We are committed to achieving net zero carbon by 2023, with the aim of being fully carbon negative by 2025.

Demonstrating this commitment to our road map, we successfully switched over our Natural Gas supply to a British Gas Renewable tariff, effective from 19th August 2021. This has taken a further 168Te annual Carbon out of the business.

Booth Industries International now only have 23Te of scope 1 & 2 carbon to address before we can rightfully claim that we are Carbon Net Zero.

To give some idea of how far we’ve come on our journey in such a short space of time, at the start of FY21 we were producing 244Te of carbon in scopes 1 & 2, which means that over 18 months we have already offset approximately 90% of this.
