Health & Safety Policy

At Booth Industries we are committed, throughout to creating a working environment free of incidents and injuries, where:

  • All employees are supported in actively creating safe environments;
  • Leadership and commitment are present at all levels;
  • Working safely enhances quality delivery and improves delivery value;
  • Leading Health & Safety indicators are used as a measure of success;
  • People are enabled to make safe choices about their own and their neighbour’s safety and to challenge the environment in which they work;
  • We support the creation of a well trained and fully competent workforce who actively contribute to the safe planning of their work;
  • Our commitment to safety and long term occupational health will support out staff throughout our operating facilities;
  • We deliver a safety management system that supports everyone delivering and supporting our operation returning home safely everyday.

Booth Industries recognises the importance of its statutory obligations and duties. Our minimum health and safety obligations are those required by relevant legislation and guidance. Booth Industries will take appropriate steps to meet, and in many cases enhance, these requirements. Utilising best practise leading and lagging indicators, the company is continually striving to make improvements for the betterment of all employees, visitors and neighbours.

The senior management team of Booth Industries fully endorse this policy. They will ensure that a documented Health & Safety Management System is maintained, which contains the arrangements and business organisation. We will ensure that the Management System is periodically reviewed to ensure it remains legally compliant, achievable, relevant and credible. Booth Industries recognises that continual improvement can be achieved by effective implementation of the above.
