This includes, where possible, procurement of goods direct from a source considered to be at least risk, such as:
- Direct from the Manufacturer
- Direct from a Manufacturer Approved Stockist/Distributor
In the event that a procured item has become obsolete from a manufacturer or their approved stockist/distributor and as such can no longer be the primary source of that item, it may be a requirement to procure those items from brokers or independent non-franchised distributors. From whichever procurement medium applied only suppliers featured in Booth Industries approved vendor list shall be utilised.
All known and/or previously unknown sources shall firstly be approved through Booth Industries supplier approval programme prior to making any purchases.
All suppliers are required to provide Certificates of Conformance or Material Certification where it is deemed appropriate.
To further mitigate the dangers of counterfeit goods entering Booth Industries manufacturing process robust goods inward control procedures have been implemented to ensure the verification of all purchased products.
Booth Industries shall also continually monitor their supply chain for quality performance and shall notify any instances of counterfeit materials identified to the supplier concerned, the client and/or the applicable industry body.
