Environmental Policy


As a leading specialist engineering organisation, Booth Industries is committed to its environmental management responsibilities. Booth Industries through its sustainability initiatives recognise effective management of all environmental aspects associated with our activities and the mitigation of potential impacts on the environment.

Booth Industries intends to effectively manage and continually improve our environmental performance through:

  • Measuring and analysing carbon footprint of business activities by Implementing Carbon Management plans across company alongside other climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts
  • Preventing pollution, minimise emissions and reduce resource consumption to practicable minimum. Promote re-use, recovery and recycling through waste management strategies
  • Complying with all environmental legislation and adopt a proactive approach to future sustainability commitments
  • Adopting a procurement programme that takes into account the environmental impact of products and services through purchase of sustainable products
  • Ensure policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels in the company
  • Training and awareness of staff on environmental issues related to company activities by involving incentives to encourage by-in to environmental strategy
  • Implement its Corporate Social Responsibility policy dealing with suppliers, and employees in a responsible way

The senior management team of Booth Industries are fully committed to this policy and aim to become Carbon Neutral by 2025. They will ensure that all activities are undertaken in an environmentally responsible manner. Continuous improvements will be implemented to review performance, objectives and targets against this policy.
