Specialist engineers design blast-resistant door solutions in-house, developing bespoke responses to individual blast load cases. Each design is underpinned by detailed blast calculations and advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA), allowing structural behaviour and performance to be modelled, tested and validated before manufacture. Where required, independent third-party verification is provided through a trusted network of consultants.
Bespoke & Pre-Engineered Blast Doors
Hinged and sliding blast-resistant doorsets are available as proven pre-engineered solutions or fully bespoke designs, engineered to withstand single or multiple dynamic blast scenarios. Door construction is tailored to blast pressure requirements and can incorporate fire performance where required.
Added fragmentation protection can be provided to the external door skin to prevent projectile penetration through the door leaf.
