At a time when the UK continues to retain a terrorism threat level of “substantial”, Booth Industries International Ltd has recently undertaken some specific upgrade modifications to one of our top performing security products, with the intention of enhancing protection against different forms of attack.
Following 3-days of rigorous ballistic testing in accordance with BS EN 1522 and BS EN 1533, we received confirmation that our hinged single and double leaf outward opening variants, safely withstood a full FB6 attack without any splinter penetration. This result adds to an already impressive series of certifications that the product holds, including CPNI security rating, fire performance, blast, and seismic qualification, making it the most complete security doorset on the market.
We are proud to be able to provide this level of life-saving protection against ballistic and marauding terrorist threat and continue to monitor evolving security requirements to ensure our products are ready to perform when called upon.
Please see below video clip and photos from the testing that was carried out.
The external (attack side) photo illustrates the level of ballistic attack the samples were subjected to during the test, while the internal (secure side) photo shows no sign of attack at all, perfectly demonstrating the level of protection that our customers have come to expect from working with Booth Industries.
