Booth Crossrail Success Celebrated !

As well as being the biggest infrastructure project of its generation, Crossrail was also a huge challenge, and its success required the involvement of thousands of supply chain members from across the country .  It was also a key opportunity for SME’s all over the UK to be involved in such a prestigious project, and to have the opportunity to work collaboratively with each other to deliver a lasting legacy to the transport network.

For Booth Industries, it was a pleasure to be involved, and whilst it delivered some challenging moments, we successfully overcame each one through expertise & experience, and as we reflect on our involvement now the project is complete and the Elizabeth Line is open for business, we look back on what we did with immense pride.

Having manufactured & installed over 700 doors across stations, tunnels and associated buildings along the Elizabeth Line, our reputation has become further established as the leading certified, engineered and bespoke door supplier in the UK.   Words echoed recently by leading figures responsible for the overall delivery of the project, such as Crossrail Chief Executive Mark Wild, and Laing O’ Rourke Operations Director Steve Jones.

Indeed, as the following video reflects on the Crossrail project and the huge supply chain effort involved, Booth Industries were one of the select few suppliers chosen to feature in the official Crossrail video.   Please watch and enjoy as people such as Mark Wild and Steve Jones themselves share their thoughts on the success, and our own Managing Director Mike Jenkinson speaks about Booth’s involvement from  7:14 onwards – enjoy !
