Appointments

Mark Corry, Operations Director, Booth Industries.

Mark’s background is in manufacturing operations and over many years he has held senior operations director roles within the aerospace, orthopaedic, oil, gas and general engineering markets. Prior to joining Booth, Mark was Operations Director working for the Special Steels Group, which serves major OEM’s, supplying forged, heat treated and machined components in low carbon and nickel based super alloys. Mark joined Booth Industries after seeing the potential for the company going forward, “Booth’s interesting and diverse portfolio and customer base rely on its many years of knowledge and expertise. The opportunity to join the team and play an instrumental role in the future development plans made it an easy choice!”

Anthony Jones, Managing Director, R Blackett Charlton.

Anthony is a fully qualified quantity surveyor with over 24 years’ experience in both the construction and manufacturing sectors. He has held senior managerial and director roles for many of Europe’s leading engineering companies, undertaking major projects throughout the UK, Norway and the Middle East. Anthony commented: “I am delighted to have joined Redhall and I am looking forward to working with the management team to develop the R Blackett Charlton business whilst building on the impressive history and reputation that it has for providing a high quality deliverable across many key sectors.”

Stuart McDonald, Commercial Manager, Redhall Manufacturing.

Stuart is currently looking after Chieftain Insulation Northern Ireland in Belfast, but he will be offering commercial and legal support to all the manufacturing businesses. Stuart is a chartered arbitrator, adjudicator and is a member of the International Bar. He has over 10 years’ project and commercial management experience, reviewing and administering contracts valued at over £1.8 billion. He has extensive legal and commercial experience gained from a wide variety of sectors working across the UK, New Zealand and the Caribbean. Stuart said: “I have been aware of Redhall for a number of years and was attracted to join the team because they are a good company with a lot of potential; something I wanted to be part of.”

Phil Turner, Continuous Improvement Manager, Redhall Manufacturing.

Based in Redditch, Phil covers all of the manufacturing companies. He is an engineering graduate of Aston University with over 25 years’ experience of working in the manufacturing industry, having managed works engineering, manufacturing and engineering functions at companies including Yale, Chubb, Union and SGB Manufacturing. Over the last seven years his focus has been on continuous improvement. He is trained and qualified in Lean Sigma having studied at the TBM Institute in North Carolina, and he is currently completing his Black Belt Six Sigma qualification. As part of a global team that generated in excess of $1 million bottom line savings, Phil has led over 20 Kaizen Events in countries from UAE and Europe to the USA. Phil is delighted to join Redhall. He commented: “I am fully committed to helping develop and improve performance across all areas of the Booth Industries, Jordan Manufacturing and R Blackett Charlton businesses.”

Jon Cushley, promoted as Contracts Manager, Jordan Manufacturing.

Jon started his career with Jordan Manufacturing as an Apprentice Fabricator and Welder in 1989 and became a fully qualified fabricator in 1993. He moved into the offices at Yate as a Production Engineer in 1998, and over the following 10 years, was promoted to Contract Engineer then Senior Contract Engineer, before his promotion to Contracts Manager in January 2013.
